Quest University Canada Presidential Scholarships 2018

Applications are invited for the Quest University Canada Presidential Scholarships 2018. Quest University Canada Presidential Scholarships are awarded to applicants who have demonstrated an eagerness to learn, an ability to lead, a willingness to contribute, and a passion for excellence.The Quest program is rigorous, and an important criterion for a scholarship is the applicant’s academic record. This is not evaluated by strict numerical limits.

Quest University Canada is Canada’s first independent, not-for-profit, secular university focusing entirely on excellence in undergraduate education. Quest University Canada’s mission is to transform how students think, question, and engage with the world through a revolutionary educational model that sparks personal growth and intellectual development. Named for the University’s first President and Founding Chancellor, the David Strangway Award for Excellence honors the extraordinary career of Dr. Strangway and his vision that created Quest University Canada.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • The student who has done well in the most challenging courses available are encouraged rather than the one who have achieved the highest grades by choosing an easier route to graduation
  • Students enriched in extra-curriculum activities are highly encourage for this scholarship
  • Applicants who have demonstrated an eagerness to learn, an ability to lead, a willingness to contribute, and a passion for excellence are eligible for the scholarship
  • Students with a high school average above 90% (3.75 US or equivalent) are encouraged to apply
  • Students must be enrolled in courses at Quest or Quest official partnering institution
  • Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. This is defined as a GPA in excess of 1.6 in the first semester, 1.8 after the first year, and 2.0 thereafter

In addition to a completed application form, you must also submit and/or complete the following:

  • High School Transcript: Provide us with your most current transcript or report card. An official copy of your transcript will be required before you start at Quest.
  • Essay: Compose your application essay and submit the Quest Essay PDF Form
  • Interview*: Once you have submitted your supporting documents, your Admissions Counsellor will review your entire Admissions application. Your Admissions Counsellor will contact you to arrange an interview to be conducted in person, by phone, or through peer-to-peer internet programs such as Skype.

Only qualified students will be selected for an interview.
